Disappointed with this world, where everyone is so focused on him/herself that only things get noticed when 1) it's done by him/herself, especially when extraordinary, and 2) it's not done by someone else who should be doing it, and causes inconvenience to oneself.

That's the kind of world that gives birth to and rewards those who crow about their own accomplishments every now and then. The more often/louder, the better.

Edit: Aren't I thinking the same way when I complain? Urgh.

I never knew that Twitter used aliens in addition to the bird and the (fail-)whale

The alien's limb is broken... I was wondering though, shouldn't it have more hands tentacles since it's supposed to handle a lot of activity at the same time?

Is Christian education in schools the way to go?

A quote from Martin Luther that got to me pretty much at our visit to the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibition a while back:

Whilst this might be true, and we attribute that to be partly why the morals of society is in a downward spiral, I think we have to keep in mind also that God chooses whom He will, because He is very much entitled to.

Probably "Christian" schools or states, where Christianity is imposed/forced on all, might not necessarily be the best way. (Not saying that all Christian schools or states are like that though.) But Christianity as a real restored relationship with God through Jesus Christ must not be forced onto people, but explained to the layman for them to understand and, God willing, accept this gift for themselves.

Talking with my wife about something random made me remember about this Lao Zha Bor blog (first mentioned in the movie Just Follow Law). Going back to browse through her site first welcomed us with the sight on the right. Laughworthy or pukeworthy, I'd say it's pretty much like...her

Oh yeah, another of her pictures that we found absolutely crazy was this Ratatouille poster photoshopped with her face on it. Try not to laugh too loud heh.
